Recycle for Zoë's Place
As a charity, we’re in support of any idea that protects the environment, reduces costs, and boosts sustainability.
We’ve been working with a number of organisations in order to successfully offer a service which allows you as a supporter, to help Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice by championing our recycling programmes. You can find out more about what we’ve been up to below.
Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice have teamed up with leading electronic waste management company Reclaim-it for a new project that could help us to raise funds to continue our important work, while protecting the environment. We need your help to host a collection point in your business to collect empty laser printer and inkjet cartridges.
The Community Appeal is designed to turn your old mobile phones, as well as your empty laser printer and inkjet printer cartridges, into valuable funds to help Coventry Baby Hospice.
Did you know?
Most phones end up sitting in a drawer or placed in the bin to go to landfill, where they can cause harm to plants and wildlife.
More than 30 million inkjet cartridges are dumped each year in the UK alone, while each discarded empty laser printer cartridge adds approximately three pounds of waste to our landfills.
How can you help?
Reclaim-it can supply a collection point box for your phones and cartridges. When it is full, all you have to do is call the number on the box to arrange collection – it really is that simple. Alternatively, Reclaim-it can supply reply paid envelopes, which are ideal for sending individual phones and cartridges back to the company.
Once collected, the value of the items will be donated directly to us here at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice. We will also let you know how much your cartridges have raised each year so that you can see the difference you are making.
To recycle in your home or business, contact Reclaim IT directly – please specify that you are supporting Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry.
