Every year, many schools get involved with the work of Zoë’s Place. Fundraising can be great fun and many local schools have created some fantastic fundraising schemes.
Please look below at the different ways we can work with you, and if your school would be interested in fundraising for or partnering with us please let us know. We would be really happy to come down to talk to students about our hospice and the difference that their fundraising would make to the children we care for. For more information please contact Rachael at email@example.com or call 01642 457985
Please help us raise the £1,400,000 a year it costs to keep the doors of Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice open for the families that rely on our vital care and support. Thank you.
Ways To Support Us…
Bring a Bag to School Day
Just pick a day, tell everyone to bring in a bag of unwanted clothes, bags or shoes and arrange for us to come and pick them up. Get in touch to arrange with us and we will send you a printable poster to put up around your school.
Teddy Bear Trek
For one day only, every child can pay £2 to bring in their favourite teddy, you could
organise a parade so each child can show them off. Or if you’re feeling more
adventurous, organise a trek around the school grounds or local park where the
children and their teddy can be sponsored.
Time 4 Tea
Pick a day, hold a bake sale where all the children bring in their favourite treats that they have made. Then drink tea and eat cake.
Pick a theme, whether it be superheroes, favourite characters or wackiest dressed, and each child pays £2 to do it. You could even have prizes for the best dressed.

Links to the Curriculum: Fundraising in the Classroom
Fundraising for a local charity gives students the opportunity to explore key topics across core subjects such as English, Maths, ICT, Citizenship and Enterprise.
We can give students a clear understanding of exactly how their contribution is making a
difference at the hospice, with tangible information about how donations we receive are used. As a result, the pupils are seeing real results from class work and how it can be applied to the work place and wider community. Take a look at our case studies from each Key Stage to see the range of benefits received by pupils and teachers alike after choosing to support Zoë’s Place.
Draft a letter on behalf of Zoë’s Place requesting support for the hospice from a local business.
Design an eye catching poster for a Zoë’s Place fundraising event.
Plan the most profitable fundraiser by using equations to work out costs. Produce a graph to show the projected income.
Discuss the role of charities and why it is important for charitable organisations to receive support from the local community. Explore corporate social responsibility and why businesses choose to go into partnership with charities.
Set up a company and see which team can raise the most amount of money for Zoë’s Place delegate roles for marketing, finance and project management.
Write and film an advertisement for your upcoming fundraising event.
