Michelle Hawkins
Michelle joined the charity as Deputy Head of Care in April 2023, and has a background of nursing children with complex needs and life-limiting conditions.
Michelle says, “The children I look after are my inspiration, their smile lights up my day and I aim to get as many smiles as I possibly can! I will never tire of my job, for me the fact that I get to help each one of these children, connecting with them on their journey and feeling like I can make a difference to their life is imperative. I absolutely love the fact that I am able to go into work every day and pinch a big cuddle from such beautiful babies! My job is the most rewarding job of all and seeing the difference our team make every day is for me everything!”
Michelle qualified as a Nurse 12 years ago and said “I am a mother of 2 girls myself and I care for all children exactly how I would like my children to be treated. I joined the team this year as I felt the passion and care the staff give is second to none, and I felt I just had to be part of it all, I am beyond proud to be part of the team!”
