To mark their 25th anniversary, Solomons Europe launched their Community Fundraising Forum (CFF), a remarkable employee-led initiative uniting their regional teams to support local charities close to their hearts. In 2023, the North East team from Solomons Europe embarked on their Community Fundraising Challenge for our charity.

The ‘Solomons 2023 Community Fundraising Challenge’ showcased the incredible dedication of their teams, each armed with a £500 seed fund to creatively maximise contributions. Zoe’s Place was the chosen beneficiary with a fantastic £3,185.26 raised!

To generate funds, team members various challenges, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, the Durham City 10k and the Cleveland Way. Recently, representatives from Solomons Europe, Josh Brown and Chris Challis visited the hospice to proudly present their fundraising total.

Representatives from the company said:

“Throughout the challenge, the best part was climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the Cleveland Way whilst supporting such a great cause.”

“It was lovely to be able to come into the hospice and see the work that the team here do and where the money raised goes. The steps were all worth it!”

“The team at Zoe’s Place were incredibly easy to work with, with lots of events and ideas on offer to help us with our fundraising and the team were always on hand to support”.

We deeply appreciate the generosity and support of the Solomons Europe team, as Corporate Fundraiser Ashleigh Wood said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with the team from Solomons Europe. Their kindness and generosity has helped make such a BIG difference to little lives.  The team were all so eager to get involved and having them visit the hospice was a breath of fresh air.
