Job Vacancy: Community Fundraiser

Salary: £24,000 Per Annum

We are seeking a community fundraiser to join our highly successful fundraising team. The aims of the post is to increase the income from our existing portfolio of community and volunteer led events and activities, and develop new fundraising opportunities predominantly across Merseyside. The role involves fundraising through all the community channels including rotaries, schools, church and volunteer groups.
You will have specific responsibility for generating and growing income through excellent stewardship of supporters, effective promotion of fundraising initiatives and building a strong and sustainable volunteer network within the community.
The post holder will be an enthusiastic, imaginative, persuasive and highly motivated fundraiser who can inspire people to raise income for our Hospice as we approach our 25th Anniversary.
To build and maintain lasting beneficial relationships with individuals, community groups, schools, and organisations.
To be an excellent ambassador for Zoë’s Place by accepting face to face donations on site, attending cheque presentations, giving talks and delivering assemblies.
To Identify, recruit and manage volunteers and fundraising groups to raise income for the hospice through various fundraising activities including public collections, placement of collection tins and events.
