Celebrating incredible support from Sienna’s family and friends for our bath campaign!

At Zoe’s Place, we are blessed to have a community that supports us with such incredible generosity and dedication. Today, we want to share some heartwarming stories and highlight a crucial campaign that needs your help.

Sian and Paul’s Inspiring 5k Run

Sian and her dad Paul recently completed the Ali Brownlee 5k, raising an incredible £987.36, including Gift Aid, for Zoe’s Place. Their motivation? To help fund a new bath at our hospice. Sienna, Sian’s daughter, visits us twice a month and absolutely loves bath time, which includes special lights, music, and bubbles. However, due to the current situation, we are having to give Sienna bed baths, which isn’t the same joyful experience for her.

Sian shares, “Zoe’s Place means the world to us. The staff’s hard work and dedication to helping children and their families are incredible. We just want to give back as a little thank you for everything they do to make our lives a bit easier.”

Pauline and John’s Generous Anniversary Gesture

In a beautiful act of generosity, Sian’s colleague Pauline and her husband John celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by asking their guests to donate to Zoe’s Place instead of giving gifts. Their selfless gesture raised a phenomenal £1,305.00, including Gift Aid!

Pauline explains, “We decided to do this because we are so proud of Sian and her husband Jack. Raising a special needs child is profoundly challenging, and we wanted to support a cause close to their hearts. Zoe’s Place provides vital support for families, and we’re overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends and family.”

Pauline and John celebrated their anniversary on the 6th of July, marking 40 wonderful years together on the 7th. Their kindness has touched us deeply, and we can’t thank them enough for this beautiful gesture.
