Crossling Golf Day raises over £3,500 for Zoe’s Place
Local businesses came together for a fantastic day of golf at the annual Crossling Golf Day, raising £3,645 in support of Zoe’s Place.
Crossling, has proudly chosen Zoe’s Place as their charity of the year. Throughout the past few months, Crossling have been dedicated to raising funds for the hospice, hosting a variety of events, including breakfast mornings, where staff and customers alike gather to show their support. Crossling’s umbrella company, have generously offered to match-fund all money raised, doubling the impact of each donation.
At the golf day, held at Eaton Golf Club, participants enjoyed a day on the course with the added thrill of a “Beat the Pro” challenge. For a donation, golfers could test their skills against a professional, with all proceeds going directly to Zoe’s Place. The atmosphere was competitive but charitable, as the day was all about supporting the children and families who rely on the hospice’s vital services.
The event also featured a lively raffle and auction, with exclusive prizes donated by local businesses. The auction added an extra layer of excitement, driving up donations and contributing to the impressive total raised on the day.
Crossling’s ongoing commitment to Zoe’s Place has made a significant difference in helping the hospice continue its compassionate care for children up to the age of five. The funds raised through events like the golf day and breakfast mornings provide essential resources for Zoe’s Place, ensuring that families receive the respite and palliative care they need during incredibly challenging times.
