Daring Duo to Take the Plunge for Baby Hospice

Two courageous fundraisers are preparing to take to the skies for a thrilling charity tandem skydive in support of Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.
The daring duo, Amy Askham and Katie Hobbs are part of the Zoe’s Place fundraising team based in Middlesbrough. They will be free-falling from 13,500 feet to raise vital funds for the hospice, which provides essential care and support to babies with life-limiting conditions and their families.
The charity skydive will take place on Sunday 10th August at Peterlee. It will undoubtedly be an adrenaline-fueled challenge, but it will also be a heartfelt effort to raise awareness and much-needed donations for the hospice. Zoe’s Place offers specialist medical care, respite services, and emotional support for families during difficult times.
Amy, Marketing Co-ordinator at Zoe’s Place said: “I am both nervous and excited to be taking part in this skydive. Knowing that funds raised will go towards supporting babies and their families makes it all worthwhile. I hope our efforts inspire others to donate and support this wonderful cause. We still have places available to skydive with us on the day, so what are you waiting for? Sign up today!”
Katie, Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place added: “Taking part in this skydive is a way for me to give back and show my support for the incredible care our hospice team provides. It’s a small way to make a big difference, and I hope we can raise as much as possible to help these families.”
Supporters can contribute to the fundraising efforts by visiting Zoe’s Place Middlesbrough: Tandem Skydive and donating to help Amy and Katie reach their goal.
Deputy Head of Care Ashleigh Rickards expressed gratitude for the initiative: “We are truly grateful for the dedication and bravery of our fundraising colleagues. Every donation helps us continue providing care and support to the babies and families who need it most.”
