Coventry Hospice news

On March 3rd, the engines roared, and hearts warmed as the Taliesin Brotherhood and the Trojan Brotherhood rolled into Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Coventry for their annual Easter Egg Run, spreading joy and goodwill as part of their longstanding community program.

As the riders rode in, they were greeted by the smiling faces of children and the dedicated nurses and care assistants who work tirelessly to support them. The clubs kindly presented Zoe’s Place with donations of Easter eggs and colouring books, bringing a touch of seasonal cheer to the hospice.

Mark Garratt, a representative from the Taliesin Brotherhood, expressed the significance of their visit, stating, “Visiting Zoe’s was an important stop. We are glad we made an early trip over. It was a privilege to meet some children that could come out to meet us and look at the bikes, also an honour to talk to Harman Kaur and other staff, to learn more about the magic you bring to children’s lives every day.”

Both the Taliesin Brotherhood and the Trojan Brotherhood have deep roots in the local community, having been established 25 years ago with the aim of fostering friendship among motorcycle enthusiasts while giving back through charity events and organised ride-outs.

Their visit to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice is just one example of their ongoing commitment to supporting those in need within the community. Reflecting on their experience, Mark added, “Zoe’s now holds a big place in both clubs’ hearts. We look forward to supporting you further.”

The Easter Egg Run not only brought joy to the children and families at Zoe’s Place but also served as a reminder of the power of community spirit and the positive impact that small gestures of kindness can have on those facing difficult circumstances.

As the motorcycles departed, their engines fading into the distance, they left behind smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.

About our supporters

The Taliesin Brotherhood

We are a side patch club established 25 years ago. Family oriented, we enjoy all aspects of motorcycle life. Our aims are to have fun meet new and old friends, while sharing an interest in bikes & trikes, also by giving back to the community in the form of charity events and organised ride outs.  We meet on the 1st Friday of every month at the Windmill Sports and Social club Nuneaton. If you fancy meeting new friends that share the same interests, come along all are welcome.

The Trojan Brotherhood

We are a local motorcycle club that was formed in 1999. In the 25 years since, we have done lots of community events and fundraisers. We pride ourselves on continuing all biker traditions, which have and always will include socialising, riding and supporting each other while (and for us most importantly) being a part of the community and giving as much help as we can to those that deserve it.
