We’re thrilled to announce that our much-loved Zoe’s Place Spring Fayre made a triumphant return to the events calendar, and it was an absolute blast! Held at Keresley Rugby Club, this event had something for everyone and did not disappoint.

After a five-year hiatus since the last fayre, everyone at Zoe’s Place as well as the community were more than ready for the return of this treasured event. Thanks to the generosity and support from Arden Fine Foods, and Keresley Rugby Club, we had the resources to bring back the fayre and we raised an impressive £5,000.

Head of Fundraising, Lisa Harrison-Byrne commented on the impact of the funds raised “We are incredibly pleased to have raised what we have at the Spring Fayre. The team haven’t hosted the event for 5 years, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we raised enough money to care for one child for around 5 days – which will make a big impact to a family we support.”

The day was packed with activities and attractions for all ages. Visitors browsed stalls from local businesses such as Tigby on Tour and Evipop’s Design, owned by Rachel Griggs, whose daughter Evelyn is supported by Zoe’s Place. With a range of gifts and produce, a packed schedule of activities, face painting, a bouncy castle and fundraising games, there was never a dull moment.

And if that wasn’t enough, we introduced a charity sports tournament! Friends, colleagues, and teammates came together to test their skills in friendly competitions. Events Fundraiser, Leigh Collins shared; “I love playing sports, especially netball. Adding the tournament was a fantastic way to raise money for Zoe’s Place whilst having loads of fun.” It was a fantastic way to raise money for a great local charity whilst having fun in the process.
