Coventry born and bred Alan is a Freeman of the City following his Commercial Apprenticeship with Rolls Royce. He spent his working life in the Design and Development of IT systems becoming a Director of a UK company and Vice President of a Polish company, supporting global organisations in logistic and finance systems.

Alan enjoys DIY on his and his children’s properties! He also likes running and has run many half-marathons, mostly for Zoe’s Place.

Alan is also the secretary at Quinton Park Baptist Church which means he is involved in all areas of leadership, safety and community initiatives.

Alan is husband to Jackie and is a family man who feels blessed and extremely grateful that his 5 children and 6 grandchildren are healthy; he is very pleased to help Zoe’s Place deliver the services they do to families who need, and deserve, the very best of care in difficult life limiting situations.
